was awarded to
Age Concern Birmingham

Wednesday 30 November 2016

Big Lottery Fund

This project will engage young people aged 11-25 and older people aged 50 and over, bringing both groups together to break down barriers in order to help improve the community by creating a local hub. Community-based and community-led activities will be developed to increase social inclusion and reduce fear of anti-social behaviour and levels of crime. A calendar of weekly events, including lunch clubs for older people and youth drop ins, will be introduced to help achieve these goals.

Disclaimer: The date shown here is the date that the decision was made to award the grant, not the date on which it was paid. Some grants may be paid in stages, and later payments may be conditional on completing earlier funded work. In some cases, grants for capital projects may be reduced or increased if the underlying project costs change. The value shown here should not, therefore, be considered immutable.
