The organisation will use the funding to carry out a feasibility study into local needs and how best to use a community centre ahead of the assets being transferred to the group from the local city council. This will enable the group to effectively take over the management of a community venue as well as plan how best to use the facility and what kinds of activities would best serve the local community, particularly for people who are older, vulnerable or with disabilities.
