The project will host a series of sewing events in a variety of venues across the town so participants (young and old) will take part in community sewing events and learn new sewing skills. The end result will be a tapestry banner made out of textiles and celebrates Skelmersdale and depicts the town in a positive way. The banner will be unveiled at a community celebration event involving the whole community and local dignitaries.
