The Encouraging Neighbours in Their Culture project is supporting older people in the Newtownhamilton area of Co Armagh to meet others, develop new skills and confidence, and improve their health and wellbeing. The three-year project is using a ?49,364 grant to run activities for older people, including tea dances, trips, social evenings, and craft classes and volunteering opportunities. The group is working in partnership with Newtownhamilton L.O.L. 117, Knockavannon L.O.L. 1157 and Aughngurgan L.O.L. 687.
