Big Lottery Fund

This is a new project will deliver a 365 day programme of cultural activities to celebrate the 2017 City of Culture. The aim of this project is to deliver a volunteering programme to enable 4,000 participants to develop learning and skills, improve their wellbeing and decrease social isolation. A large outreach and recruitment campaign will aid the work. Bespoke approaches have been developed for hard to reach groups like isolated and disabled people, those with poor mental health and young adults.
