Following two small pilots Communities Inc will develop their work to provide support for victims of hate crime and help with reporting it to the authorities in partnership with Victim Support. Around 200 people will be trained to help victims and witnesses of hate crime. It will also establish 30 new hate crime reporting centres in community venures where the volunteers will be based. Support will also be provided through workshops involving local organisations and develop local reporting networks.
