The funding will be used to run drop in sessions for people with learning difficulties; their families, dependents and carers. The project aims to provide one to one support for people with a learning difficulty so that they can access services and activities to improve their quality of life.

This Peterborough based project will support people who are homeless or at risk of becoming homeless. It will do this by providing a room in a supported house, as well as addressing any issues preventing them from maintaining a tenancy. These homes offer care, friendship and encouragement whilst supporting people with their varied and often embedded needs. Workers will identify people?s strengths and future aspirations, and work with them to access the appropriate services to achieve their potential.

The funding will be used by a parish council to purchase a public access defibrillator for village residents. The project aims to provide to support the health and wellbeing of older residents of this rurally isolated community.

This is a project based in Peterborough, serving people in East Northamptonshire. The project will provide an activity day to help people develop their confidence and bring the community together.

This project will provide support services, training activities and social opportunities for Nepalese former Gurkha servicemen and their families. This will provide advocacy services and opportunities for the participants which will reduce isolation and improve chances in life.

This is a new early intervention youth domestic violence project for 11-25 year olds in Cambridgeshire. The project will consist of four components including building awareness and prevention in schools, as well as direct engagement with perpetrators, victims and families. It will focus on young people and abusive behaviour in intimate relationships as well as towards adults within the home environment.

The organisation will use the funding to provide training to parents with disabled children to help them better understand and support their child. This will enable parents to learn practical techniques for supporting their child?s development, ensuring that they feel confident and secure in their parenting and provide the best support for their child.

The organisation will use the funding to deliver roller skating sessions and provide Young Leaders Award courses for young people in the local community. This will also involve upskilling two coaches to help deliver the activities and help make the project sustainable, and provide beneficiaries with positive diversionary activities and encourage them to become more physically active.

The organisation will use funding to refurbish the downstairs area of their newly acquired building, to incorporate rooms for counselling and an ICT suite. This will enable the group to provide support and training services for ex offenders, substance misusers and those fleeing domestic violence, with the aim of reducing reoffending and unemployment amongst service users.

The organisation will use the funding to develop and deliver a series of new clubs and social groups for adults and children focusing on healthy lifestyles and activities during the school holidays. This will enable the organisation to run after school clubs, provided by the newly trained students, to then pass on fitness activities for those with behavioural issues as a result of an inactive lifestyle.

The organisation will use the funding to refurbish the community centre by installing a new kitchen and flooring. This will improve a local venue for community use and ensure it is safe and suitable for all users and potential users.
