Heritage Lottery Fund

Ghana Welfare Association will hold events and activities to celebrate the Games and Ghanaian and Scottish heritage and traditions. Welcome and farewell receptions for Ghanaian athletes and officials will be held with traditional cuisine, music and dance from both countries on offer - Highland dancing, bagpipe and ceilidh music, and Ghanaian Djembe drumming. Atheletes will receive Scottish gifts.
