This project will redevelop the group's website which is no longer fit for purpose. This will enable the people to gain help and advice and improve their health and wellbeing.

This project will use the funding to run a series of healthy living sessions and to create a fitness and wellbeing information resource for people with learning disabilities or autism. This will enable participants to engage in activities and gain knowledge which benefits their long term health.

ROBiN

They will support people with learning difficulties to have a bigger voice in their communities. This is done through a team of trainers who have a disability training others about keeping safe and speaking out. Creative methods like music and dance will encourage people to share their experiences, work together to break down barriers, celebrate their individuality and find their own voice. This will help them raise awareness and make sure local services best support them.

SidcupÔÇÖs Home Front in the Great War

The organisation will use the funding to provide training to ten people with disabilities who will become peer support workers. This will enable the group to use person-centered planning to create a peer network of beneficiaries providing support to others who have learning or physical disabilities.

The group will use the funding to deliver a car maintenance employment training project for young people who are NEET and are at risk of the effects of antisocial behaviour. This will provide those taking part with transferrable skills and create pathways to employment.

The Girl and The Giraffe

This project is based on a successful pilot and will address isolation experienced by people with learning disabilities by developing lasting friendships with local volunteers based on shared interests, from sport to gardening. It will link up with other local organisations to help people access more mainstream activities away from their home, helping people feel more confident and part of their local community. The friendships will be guided by staff members to make sure people get the most of out it.

The Bexley chairty will install a new front entrance, rear fire door, light units and wiring to make the hall more secure for community users.
