This group will use the funding to develop their project which aims to support 900 vulnerable children and young people in Southwark. The project will engage with children via interactive drama and build understanding around risks related to drugs and alcohol, sex and relationships, positive friendships and adapting to change. The project will enable children to be equipped to manage risks in their lives and the group will run activities to boost confidence and self-esteem.

This project will develop their work, aiming to build resilience, improve wellbeing, increase safety, reduce isolation and improve life chances in older people to reduce their need for services, including those of the organisation. The project will work in the most deprived or isolated areas, including Black, Asian and Minority Ethnic communities, people with poor mental or physical health and those who have difficulty managing their finances and so are at risk of financial exploitation or deprivation.

This project will use funding to run a weekly program which will educate young people on career opportunities and provide employment advice, work experience placements and self-development training. This will provide young people with the skills and opportunities to secure employment.

The funding will be used to run an arts-based retreat weekend and tour for people who are lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and queer (LGBTQ) and people with HIV. The project aims to challenge social isolation and improve the mental wellbeing of those taking part.

This group aims to develop their project which supports women and girls by building confidence improving self-esteem and increasing aspirations. There will be three strands to the project, the existing RoseBuds for young people aged eleven to nineteen and in development RosePetals working with girls aged from seven to ten and RoseGarden for parents. Young people will be taught life skills focusing on self-awareness and decision making. RoseGarden will bring parents together to develop skills and techniques.

This project will deliver a community awareness event that will focus upon raising awareness of the importance of both physical and mental health. This will encourage members of the community to adopt healthier lifestyles.

This project will support people with dementia and enhance their wellbeing and quality of life. The organisation will use ?creative care? which involves not only narrative- language based reminiscence, but person centred non-verbal sensory activity through touch, smell and sound, movement and music approaches. The project focuses on preventative care for people who are still living in their own homes where somebody is suffering from dementia and is being cared for.
