This is a new project which aims to support people affected by life limiting illnesses coping with an end of life experience in the Barking and Dagenham, Havering, Redbridge and Brentwood areas. The project will implement peer-to-peer call chains to reduce social isolation. There will be around 200 volunteer call chain members. The helpline will provide social conversation, signposting and advice about individuals concerns, i.e. loneliness, relationship advice, spiritual guidance, amongst other things.
