The project has been designed with over 70 young people aged 8-15 from 12 Lambeth School Councils to support young people at risk of violence to have healthy relationships with themselves, their families, their peers, and their community. The project will include a wide range of activities related to Healthy Relationships.

St Mathew?s Project - Weekly Football and Mentoring Support

This project will provide music recording and performance sessions for young people. This will develop their skills and raise confidence in accessing training, education and employment.

This project will maintain fortnightly peer support groups for people living with mental ill health in the black minority ethnic community. This will support their wellbeing through peer support and shared experiences.

This collaboration between the Big Lottery Fund and Comic Relief will increase the number of projects funded through the Tech vs. Abuse programme. The Tech vs. Abuse programme supports technological innovation and creative digital solutions to help improve the safety of women and girls affected by domestic abuse and violence. Our funding will also allow evaluation and sharing of learning from the initiative.

This is a project by a community organisation in Lambeth, serving beneficiaries in Southwark. The group will deliver a programme of cyber security activities that are designed to support the needs of charitable organisations. This will improve the governance and infrastructure for local voluntary organisations who are at risk of the effects of cyber-crime.

This is a project by a charity in Lambeth, serving beneficiaries across England. The group will create new online resources that will focus upon supporting the needs of people who have been affected by road accidents.

This project will run a series of basic employment training and workshops for disadvantaged young people in the area. This will build confidence, develop skills and knowledge and remove barriers to employment.

This cross-estate project is aimed at building peace between young people from two gang affected neighbourhoods. This will improve relationships and bring the community together in an area with high rates of violence and conflict.

This project will set up a programme of free weekly activities including yoga, meditation and mindfulness for the local community, in order to improve their mental health and wellbeing.

This project will use the funding to update their play equipment. This will enable the beneficiaries to take part in physical activities and games, improving health and well-being.

This project will use the funding to deliver a programme of extra-curricular activity sessions that will focus on challenging issues around isolation and mental ill health for pupils who are risk of the negative effects of social media. This will improve levels of personal resilience for vulnerable young people.

This project will provide preventative programs focusing on domestic violence in relation to teenage dating. This will improve the confidence of young women and allow them to plan their future and focus on reaching their full potential within school or college.

This project will use the funding to deliver workshops for families from the local Portuguese and Spanish ethnic communities. These workshops will involve teaching parents about how to choose and apply to schools for their children; and for children and young people a variety of activities including literacy skills, sport, art and music. This project will use funding to create a growing and learning area for children and the wider community. This provide local people with more access to green spaces.

This organisation will use the grant to develop a new ?Marie Curie Helper Service?. Volunteers referred to as Helpers will provide support on two levels involving both for the individual who is terminally ill, and for their family and carers enabling them to cope with the daily challenges of living with a terminal illness. Patients are carefully matched with someone who shares their interests, once matched the Helper will visit the patient and family/carer on a weekly basis providing continuity of support.

This project will create a new community learning room that will facilitate the delivery of extra-curricular activities. This will improve opportunities for people living in the culturally diverse area who face barriers to accessing educational resources.
