The funding will be used by a primary school to develop the outdoor play area and resources of the school, including purchasing role play and sensory equipment, a climbing frame, and raised beds for an after school gardening club. The project aims to improve the outdoor facilities of the school, and provide creative activities to aid the children?s development and behaviour, encourage them to become more active and make healthy lifestyle choices.

The project will establish a junior youth club for 8-11 year olds and an inters youth club for 11-13 year olds and deliver sport taster and healthy eating sessions. This will provide a safe environment for children and young people to develop social skills, confidence and self-esteem and improve their opportunities and wellbeing.

The school will use the funding to engage children, parents and staff in the development of an eco garden. Children and parents will be involved in activities including horticulture, creating seasonal planters, flower and plant photographs and storytelling workshops. They will also develop a garden shop enterprise to improve the skills, opportunities and wellbeing of beneficiaries and encourage them to be more active.

The organisation will use the funding to deliver a volunteering engagement and empowerment programme for people who are long term unemployed and people with mental health problems, low self-esteem or socially isolated. This will provide beneficiaries with training to improve their confidence and self-esteem, personal development and support to develop their skills and link them with volunteering organisations.

The organisation will use the funding to deliver enrichment activities for children and young people including, arts, crafts, cookery, healthy eating, and ?fitness boot camp?. This will help young people from disadvantaged backgrounds to fulfil their potential and improve opportunities.

The school will use the funding to build a bike ?hotel? to store the children?s bikes and deliver a community bike project. This will encourage the community to cycle to and from school and improve their physical health.

The funding will be used to develop a project to support people who are long-term unemployed and facing barriers to work, like homelessness, debt and substance misuse, to move into work. The development funding will be used for service design, research, mapping of existing services, writing a business plan, meetings and focus groups.

The organisation will use the funding to purchase materials and hire a sessional tutor in order to run a series of creative workshops. This will enable the organisation to provide a series of activity based workshops to pass on crafting skills.

The organisation will use the funding to run well-being courses for women. This will enable the beneficiaries to attend social learning sessions, build mutual support networks, reduce isolation and improve confidence and self esteem.

This funding will be used to develop a website, promotional materials and communications strategy to market the group and its services to those who need it. The organisation uses structured outdoor activities with horses to encourage people to discuss their feelings, behaviours and patterns. This is designed to help them engage with education or training, and find purpose and direction.

The funding will be used to purchase gym and fitness equipment for use outside of school hours. This will provide health and fitness sessions for students that have no access or other means of exercising beyond what they do at school.

The organisation will use the funding to offer social activities including bingo, speaker sessions and trips, for local older people. This will provide social opportunities for older people whose ill health and poor mobility means that they are usually unable to access community activities and events.

The organisation will use the funding towards replacing the final section of roof of their auditorium. This will improve the facilities of the community building enabling the residents and community groups to continue to enjoy the training classes, activities and amenities.

This project will provide support for adults with learning disabilities. Due to the nature and severity of their disability they lack basic life skills and independence, have no or very limited opportunities to form enduring relationships and friendships with others outside their immediate families. This isolation is also mirrored by carers who do not have the opportunity for respite.
