The funding will be used to run a breakfast club and trips for Jewish children in the local community. The project aims to improve behaviour and educate people about the benefits of healthy eating.

The funding will be used to run ?Men in Sheds? sessions for those who are feeling socially isolated. The project aims to provide people with the opportunity to learn new skills, forge friendships and reduce feelings of loneliness.

The project will work with young Jewish people in Greater Manchester to improve skills, health and integration into the wider community. The project will continue to recruit and train 30 young adults each year to become volunteer mentors by running two annual five-session training courses and giving professional supervision to the group. It will identify those undertaking mentoring roles who can take on the role of a senior volunteer or buddy and give support to their peers.

The funding will be used to expand the capacity of the organisation to support the local community. The project aims to support people to achieve economic and financial stability.

Bury Art Society: Archiving People & Place

The funding will be used by a charity to carry out a consultation with people to identify how they can run their centre over the next three years. The project aims to provide the organisation with the information needed to be able to keep running the community centre.

This is a new partnership between Home-Start Bury, Bolton and Rochdale. It will combine skills and expertise into one service in order to effectively support more families across the three local authorities. The partnership will provide one-to-one support and home visits to families with young children who may be spiralling into crisis situations. This support will focus on families who are difficult to reach, and will include emotional and practical support with budgeting, nutrition and accessing services.

The funding will be used to run dedicated and adapted weekly yoga sessions for people with Multiple Sclerosis. The project aims to improve people?s health and wellbeing by allowing them to retain their physical mobility for longer and reduce their stress and anxiety through relaxation techniques.

The funding will be used to run a digital skills training programme for residents which will cover internet access, finding information online and how to keep in touch with friends and family. The project aims to develop resident?s IT skills, reduce digital exclusion and enable residents to become more independent.

The funding will be used to run alternative therapeutic sessions for young people from black and minority ethnic (BME) backgrounds who experience emotional and behavioural difficulties. The project aims to provide these young people support to work through their issues in order to improve their mental health and well-being.

The funding will be used by a charity to consult and engage with small Jewish communities across England and provide networking support to strengthen their capacity to engage with the wider community, represent their views and needs to statutory services, and combat anti-Semitism. The project aims to strengthen the community by raising their profile and provide a focus for mutual support and information exchange.

The funding will be used by a community school to purchase equipment for a weekly after school fitness club for young girls who are not participating in any physical activity outside of school. The project aims to reduce the levels of overweight young people in the local community.

The funding will be used to run a programme of sporting activities and life skills sessions for young Jewish people. This will cover a range of topics such as healthy eating and dealing with stress. The project also supports parents by providing sessions on the healthy lives of their children, communication skills, and understanding parental roles with the aim of improving self-image and family relationships.

The funding will be used to run a fortnightly programme for fathers and their children to encourage social interaction. This will include craft sessions, entertainment and advice from professionals. The project aims to provide opportunities for fathers to engage with their children which will benefit the child?s development and emotional wellbeing.

This project is run by a community interest company in Bury helping people in Durham. The project will develop a programme to train ?peer supporters? to support people affected by suicide. They will undertake a feasibility study, business plan, income strategy, and evidence social return on investment, to determine its viability and ensure its sustainability to support communities affected by bereavement and suicide.

The project will use the funding to deliver a feasibility study towards creating an approved quality standard to ensure independent venues in Salford are supportive of mums breastfeeding. This will include engaging with professionals to develop a business plan and developing a website. The project will provide a meeting place for new mums and support them to be open and confident about breastfeeding, provide information and signposting to healthcare services through group and peer support.

This project will deliver beauty salon courses - including hair styling, colouring and curling - for young women in Prestwich, Manchester. This will provide them with the necessary skills and confidence to enter the workforce, and will help reduce unemployment and raise aspirations.

This project will use the funding to create a specially designated youth room within its existing building. This will provide new facilities for young people to socialise and run diversionary youth club activities.

The organisation will use the funding to install an outdoor multipurpose fitness gymnasium for use during and after school hours by their pupils, and which will also be open to the wider community. This will help encourage the adoption of healthy lifestyle choices.

The organisation will use the funding to provide youth club sessions and activities for boys and young men from the orthodox Jewish community. This will engage them in positive activities and social interactions reducing their isolation and improving their social and interpersonal skills.

The school will transform their playground into an interactive outdoor learning zone. This will mean that children in the school and local community have access to play activities and a safe outdoor space.

The organisation will use the funding to produce and run a professional show for girls between ages 11-16 years; including choir, music, dancing and prop clubs, and planning training sessions with a view to giving additional life skills to teenagers and open the end performances to the public. This will provide activities to address issues linked to poverty, health and cultural practices.

This project will use the funding to run mentoring workshops and residential weekends for adults in the Jewish community to address issues the beneficiaries face in both their lives and education. This will enable the organisation to deal with health issues such as dealing with relationships, stress and anxiety, how to challenge and respond to anti-Semitic behaviour and how to manage a community group, aiming to strengthen their links with the local community.

The organisation will use the funding to run a series of social, cultural and learning activities for older people living in supported accommodation and people with learning disabilities in the local community. This will aim to reduce loneliness and isolation and improve skills.

The organisation will use the funding to engage consultants to assist it in business planning and organisational development to equip it with the skills and evidence to tender for contracts, engage with businesses to generate a social return on investment, and expand its offer and engagement with stakeholders. This will help the organisation become a sustainable enterprise and support the development of creative capacity in children.

This will enable the organisation to address significant social and development issues for the pupils who have SEND issues including emotional, behavioural and mental health issues, and the play area will also be enjoyed by all children who attend the out of school clubs.

The organisation will use funding to continue running a gardening and wildlife after school project at the school. This will increase self-esteem, confidence and aspirations for children while improving their wellbeing and healthy eating.

The organisation will use the funding to expand and embed its pilot music therapy workshops to all people living with advanced dementia in the residential care home. This will improve the wellbeing of participants by providing them with stimulation that re-engages them with their surroundings and the community.

This voluntary organisation in Bury will use the funding to deliver a range of social, recreational and learning activities to adults with learning disabilities and their carers. This will improve the social and psychological health of participants by equipping them with skills and experiences to engage with the wider community, develop coping mechanisms to deal with anxieties that such interaction produces, and increase their self-confidence and self-reliance.

The primary school will use the funding to install fixed fitness-based play equipment in the schools grounds. This will encourage pupils to increase their physical activity levels to combat sedentary lifestyles and misbehaviour, and improve health and wellbeing.

The funding will support a pre-school breakfast club, including physical activities such as walking, aerobics, cycling and kayaking. This will enable the organisation to provide positive activities to improve upon physical health and mental wellbeing of the young Jewish people in the community.

This is a project by a registered charity in Manchester with beneficiaries primarily in Salford. The organisation will use the funding to deliver a Building Leaders project. This will enable the organisation to give one to one support and advice and training to identify the specific learning needs of the members of the local community.

The organisation will use the funding to provide culturally sensitive employment, education and enterprise advice and guidance, and a jobs fair for unemployed people from within the Orthodox Jewish community. This will improve the life chances of the participants by making them aware of culturaly appropriate employment and training options and opportunities and develop their job seeking skills.

The group will use the funding to develop an outside space within the school grounds in to a community accessible outdoor learning area. This will enable children to access the area to learn about growing food, sustainability and to learn about living a healthy lifestyle.

This project offers opportunities for people with learning disabilities, to meet socially and develop friendships. The organisation will use the funding to undertake a consultation with users, potential users, their extended families and friends, trustees, staff and volunteers, to ascertain their needs and determine a strategic way forward for Bury Gateway for the next three years.

The organisation will use the funding to develop derelict waste land to the rear of the clubhouse and create a new disabled access and toilet facility within the clubhouse. This will enable the organisation to provide improved facilities which the local community are better able to access and enjoy.

This will enable the organisation to encourage healthy life-styles for the targeted beneficiaries, who are less likely to participate in health enhancing activities and are at much greater risk of developing coronary heart disease, strokes and diabetes as a result.

It will develop the personal and communication skills of SEN pupils and the many children that join the join the school with speech and language difficulties, as well as providing an accessible area.

The organisation will use the funding to deliver a programme of sports based activities to boys aged 6 to 12 years old form local Jewish schools. This will provide culturally sensitive activities to help improve the children?s confidence, gross motor and social skills, and help aid their emotional and physical development.

The organisation will use funding to install a water supply and sewage system to a porta cabin on their premises. This will enable them to create a community cafe, as a tool to engage with hard to reach clients so they can also benefit from employability skills and volunteering opportunities.

The organisation will use the funding to create an informal learning and drop-in community facility to enable the organisation to run community programmes and targeted activities for young people aged 16-24. This will create an appropriate facility to provide accessible activities with the aim of increasing support and addressing negative behaviour of young people through diversionary activities.

The organisation will use the funding to stage two bespoke community productions themed around the jewish community and issues facing Jewish women, to form the basis of wider discussion and act as a catalyst for changes.The project will address isolation and loneliness of older women, single mothers and other women on the fringes of the Jewish community and will help empower these women through participation.

The organisation will use the funding to install a trim trail and a mini sensory green space on the school grounds to enable the school to establish an after school and lunchtime play club with young leaders to support vulnerable children with play. This will improve behaviour and motor skills of children with SEN and reduce levels of obesity through discouraging sedentary play.

The organisation will use the funding to provide out of school mentoring to vulnerable children at risk of low academic attainment. This will enable the organisation to engage the children in school and improve their prospects.

The organisation will use the funding to recruit and train volunteers to run support services for people in the community who are dealing with infertility. This will enable the organisation to provide support and advice which will address stress, deterioration of relationships and mental health issues that result from infertility problems.

The organisation will use the funding to offer health and fitness activities, including gym sessions, physical games and nutritional advice for local children and young people and their families. This will improve the health and wellbeing of local people and reduce levels of obesity.

The organisation will use the funding to introduce a new on-site counselling and mental health service for the school in partnership with the children's charity The Place2Be. This will enable the organisation to provide a service that will help children and their families deal with challenging and difficult issues such as bereavement, family breakdown, domestic violence, abuse, and community conflict, by providing emotional and therapeutic support.
