This funding will be used to expand the group?s existing work by linking refugees with veterans to support integration, improve health and wellbeing, reduce isolation, and increase employability skills.

This school will use the funding to remove their dilapidated, 14-year-old playground equipment and replace it with new playground equipment that will promote fitness and motor-skill development.

This group supports veterans across Scotland, but predominantly from Glasgow, through a drop-in centre based at the Pearce Institute in Govan. The centre is open five days a week and provides peer support, mental health support, massage therapy, benefits advice, help with pensions, support with housing, help creating CVs, a free hot meal, food parcels, basic computer skills classes, cooking classes, life skills and anything else that veterans request.

This group supports people and their families where relationships have broken down due to alcohol addiction. The project will employ a Family Links worker who will support and encourage families to rebuild relationships and make positive changes by bringing families together for counselling sessions in a safe, facilitated environment. The project will support 150 people and 15 volunteers in North East Glasgow over three years.

This group will use the funding to support two groups. Adults who have had adverse childhood experiences (ACE) and/or are survivors of abuse or rape. Children, young people and families currently experiencing challenging circumstances. The primary focus will be on helping adult survivors regain control over their own lives. The second aspect of the activity will develop the ?Healing for the Heart?s? programme for children helping them address social, emotional and behavioural issues.

This group will run a programme of self - awareness training for women and girls who have experienced a difficult life journey whether through poverty, addiction, abuse, homelessness or poor mental health. Activities will be delivered through the Get S.E.T training (Self-Empowerment Training) programme which has been designed to offer practical strategies and life-enhancing tools for woman and girls who find it difficult to self-care due to low self-esteem.

This group will use the funding to deliver new and additional services targeted at older people, people with mobility or restricted access needs, those with long term conditions, and for people experiencing isolation and loneliness. The need to do something for these specific groups was identified by the local community who wanted to ensure that these groups were not excluded and could also benefit from all the various activities run by Annexe Communities.

This group supports the community in Nitshill, Priesthill and Househillwood by providing a range of community activities based around Levernwood Hall (a former community centre) in Nitshill, Glasgow. The group will use the funding to recruit a coordinator develop activities for the wider community and to link with local projects and services. The club will also refurbish the hall to make improvements to the toilet facilities and to repair a leaking window.
