This womens singing group based in Wishaw provide social and recreational opportunities for their membership. The grant will fund hall hire and tutor costs for the groups activities.

This group will use the funding to deliver a personalised community support programme to marginalised people with tailor made health and well-being programmes, and practical activities based from and around a large community based recycling facility. The project will support disadvantaged people living in the local community experiencing mental health issues, long term health conditions, disabilities, loneliness, poverty and social isolation.

This grant will provide opportunities for local children to take part in art and crafts activities. It will also fund three local trips to the pantomime, bowling and to the cinema.

This group will use the funding to continue and enhance their befriending service available to anyone over the age of 18 suffering from isolation and loneliness in the Motherwell area. The service is particularly targeted at those with disabilities, physical and mental illness, and providing respite for carers.

There are both group and one to one befriending sessions. Group sessions have been organised for those who have moved into sheltered housing complexes and are new to the community. Respite is also offered to carers through befriending and group activities.
