This project will improve the club?s cricket outfield drainage and improve junior coaching by providing qualified coaches to deliver sessions, currently delivered by volunteer coaches without formal cricket qualifications. The club will also purchase new golf equipment.

This organisation provides art classes for all ages and abilities. They will use the funding to provide art classes in five care homes across South Ayrshire.

This group?s aim is to encourage creative regeneration in Ayr town centre by creating a new Creative Culture Centre; a creative space for local artists. The funding will be used for a feasibility plan to consider options for location, layout and facilities to be provided in the creative space.

South Ayrshire Befriending Project

The group will use the funding for disadvantaged young people, aged 8-18 years, living in South Ayrshire. The group will establish 45-55 befriending matches per year, which can last from six months to two years. It will work with young people who have limited adult support at home and are affected by the issues including poverty, drugs, alcohol or mental health. This funding will also enable the participants to take part in different activities within their communities.

This group organise numerous events throughout the year for people within the community including gala days, Christmas events, and maintenance of the beachfront and gardens. They will use the funding to purchase canopies and stalls which can be used at events all year round.

This sports club is used as a base for delivering a wide range of community activities and services. It also hosts Maybole Pipe Band and acts as a hub for local sports groups. The project will continue to support these activities as well as developing the existing caf? into a drop-in and mixing space for the community. It will also offer exercise classes, a food train, a lunch club for older people, trips and outings, a men?s shed project and allotments or growing spaces.

This school will use the funding for a series of trips to Scottish heritage landmarks and for a royal celebration performance for the benefit of the school pupils.

This grant will support the delivery of a pilot programme of participatory budgeting events in 6 locality areas within South Ayrshire. The 6 areas are in line with locality community planning areas for health and social care integration. Groups invited to apply are those who undertake community based activity in local neighbourhoods. Proposals will initially be checked through a screening process, then at the decision day local residents will vote for their preference with the outcome announced on the day.

This project will deliver pre-tenancy support to 650 people, as well as a befriending service and a group for women who have experienced domestic abuse. It will help to establish and maintain sustainable tenancies, manage budgets, develop confidence and reduce chances of repeat homelessness. Access to IT services will allow people to find properties, open bank accounts and set up payments.

This is a programme of activities aimed specifically at young people with additional support needs who are living in the rural town of Girvan. Young people will be matched with peer buddies and all activities run from the organisation's base, the Z1 Youth Bar.
