This group will use the funding to cover on-going and development costs of being the ?voice? of young carers across the region.

This group will deliver a holistic family support programme in partnership with Bellshill and Mossend YMCA. Operating in Bellshill, Uddingston, Hamilton and Blantyre, it aims to improve outcomes for young people aged 8 to14 and their families who are experiencing difficulties in their lives.

1st Tuesday Club

This group will develop a three year ?Mobile Men?s Shed? programme through their ?Seniors Together? partnership which will be delivered across South Lanarkshire, focussing on Rutherglen, Cambuslang, Hamilton, Blantyre, East Kilbride and Strathaven. The programme will help to reduce feelings of loss, isolation and loneliness amongst older men in these communities by establishing new men?s shed groups.

Blameless SCIO

This organisation will use the funding to develop and expand their activity SHiFT ? Strength, Hope, Future, Transition. The activity targets women and girls aged over 12, from North and South Lanarkshire, who have experienced rape and/or any other form of sexual abuse, providing an individually tailored support package. As well as improving existing service provision LRCC intend to increase the number of people benefiting from the service actively seeking those from harder to reach backgrounds.

This group will use the funding to deliver a holistic family support service for families affected by drug and alcohol addiction, this will include a monthly activity programme and peer mentoring schemes. The charity provides a single port of entry for support and focuses on supporting the whole family unit, recognising that addiction affects everyone in a family.

Chance 2 Change will, through mentoring, personal goal setting and group work support young people to manage their personal circumstances so that they have the life skills they need to overcome their personal life challenges.

This group provides support to young carers and raises awareness of the issues they face. They will use the funding for outings and social activities that will benefit the young carers.

This group provides emotional and practical support to women and girls where there are issues arising from all forms of sexual violence. They will use the funding to improve their online presence and social media as part of their project tackling gender inequality and sexual violence in the media.

This project will support children and parents/carers who are experiencing a range of challenging circumstances as a family within the Larkhall area of Lanarkshire. Activities will also improve parenting skills, address personal issues and improve parents' ability to cope.

This club provides social engagement opportunities for older people in sheltered housing. They will use the funding for a pool table.

This project will support children and families experiencing the trauma of family change, in particular parental separation and divorce. It will provide a dedicated Child Contact Centre Support Worker to work directly with families using Burnbank and East Kilbride Child Contact Centres and to provide play therapy alongside more traditional counselling. The project is expected to benefit around 520 families over a five year period.
