This project will enable the club to deliver volunteer training sessions to accrue a number of volunteers for the forthcoming 2016 European Curling Championship and other future international curling events taking place in Scotland.

Forth Valley Disability Sports Association

This group will use the funding for their members to take part in the 2017 Special Olympics.

This project will strengthen the club by allowing them to purchase new trampolines and equipment.

The organisation teaches skills in growing, cooking and foraging for food; mending clothes; refurbish old furniture; and reducing waste. This project will bring people together to celebrate local food.

The Argyll and Sutherland Highlanders Museum redevelopment project

This group will use the funding to continue provision of their rescue dog training programme at HMS YOI Polmont. Participants, aged 16-21 years, will be matched with a rescue dog and under the guidance of training staff students will design training plans to support the dog in being rehomed. Students will also benefit from non-practical training sessions where they will learn the theory behind dog training and animal care.

This group delivers projects that improve community life in the Braehead & Broomridge area of Stirling as well as running the Braehead Community Garden. The project will establish monthly BBQs and an end of harvest season event for people to come together and celebrate in the community garden.

Ochil Community Hall Management Committee SCIO

This project will deliver practical and emotional support to families in Stirling who are experiencing difficulties. Vulnerable families with at least one child under five years of age experiencing stress or difficulties in some areas of their lives will be able to access a range of tailored activities. The activities including being matched with a trained volunteer who will provide weekly home visiting support and referrals to other services.

St Modan's High School

This school will purchase new equipment and replace old equipment for students taking part in Duke of Edinburgh expeditions.

National Curling Academy NCA

This group help people to discover, enjoy and support parks through their website which is Scotland?s only crowdfunding platform for parks and greenspaces. The group will use the funding to engage crowdfunding experts and members of the greenspace sector to develop and deliver a programme of training and support for local greenspace organisations.

This group will use the funding to implement the second phase of their redevelopment of the Gartmore Play Park by installing additional equipment which will be accessible to all children.

This project is a partnership between four of the leading children?s charities in Scotland: Aberlour Child Care Trust, Action for Children Scotland, Barnardo?s Scotland and Children First. It will provide families with short term, intensive one to one support ,as well as advice, guidance and practical support on all aspects of parenting.

This group provide a range of support services for children living with a disability, growing up and leaving care, and living with the impact of drugs and alcohol on their families. The funding will be used to hold a conference for young people who use the group?s services.

Cowie Rural Action Group

This group will use the funding for a year long programme of public events aimed at increasing community cohesion.

This group will use the funding for recreational events and an initiative to recruit young volunteers to provide intergenerational befriending services for their clients, who have early- to moderate-stage dementia.

Blue Sky Autism Project

This group will use the funding to erect a storage garage on land that they rent from the local authority and to purchase tents.

This organisation wishes to develop an existing underused site on the main street into a community garden space. This could include space for allotments, learning, landscape training and volunteer work. The housing association is unsure how to progress with the development of the existing space in regards to the scope of possible land uses. The funding will be used for a feasibility study incorporating community consultation activities, and technical surveys and drawings.

This group will use the funding to start a pre-school club to compliment a previous Communities and Families Fund grant for a successful after-school club.

Great Crested Newt Detectives

MyPark Scotland based in Stirling operates Scotland's only crowdfunding platform for parks, helping people discover and support their local parks. The group plans to pilot a new thematic approach, removing some of the barriers to listing and crowdfunding. Working with third sector partners, it will develop a number of themed projects. It will then invite any interested group to 'bid' to crowdfund and run one of the projects. The effectiveness of this model will be evaluated and used in the future.

This project will engage a sessional development worker to work with contractors, trustees and partners from the horse-riding sector to oversee the creation of a new riding for the disabled centre. It will also deliver interim riding activities to service users.

The Cambusbarron Community Development Trust was formed in 2011. They wish to acquire ownership of a 66 hectare area of mixed woodland know as Gillies Hill, Stirling. This funding will enable CCDT to engage a consultant to undertake a feasibility study with a view to making an application to the Scottish Land Fund. An independent land valuation will also be part of this project as well as study visits to other community woodlands and a feasibility study including the production of a business plan.

Based on the campus of Stirling University, Macrobert Arts Centre delivers a wide range of arts and cultural activities. It will deliver a project investigating the role art and creative experiences can play in helping adults with autism to live healthier, more connected and better supported lives. The project will design and test how creative activities can more fully meet the needs of adults on the autistic spectrum by working alongside participants to co-design more accessible and appropriate services.
