This project will purchase new equipment for their community film club which will include a surround sound system and large screen. This will enable the organisation to offer a more inclusive range of films which are accessible for people with visual or hearing impairments, with the aim of reducing social isolation.

This project aims to support vulnerable young people aged 14-26 years old who are facing significant levels of social and educational disadvantage. The project will develop community integration to strengthen young people?s personal skills, aspirations, self-esteem, life skills, and potential career opportunities. The main activities will focus on vocational and personal development to aid positive change. A community integration mentoring programme will match mentors with young people.

This charity will use the funding to support and train adult volunteer mentors who will then offer support to disadvantaged young people. The mentoring will help the young people to build their confidence and additional workshops will help to develop their life skills.

The organisation will use the funding to install information boards at the beach, organise litter picks and provide community talks and events about the nature reserve. This will improve the environment for the local community, who currently feel unable to access the area due to dog waste, illegal camping and litter.

This academy will use the funding to provide an activity centre and artificial grass within the newly established nursery school to meet the needs of preschool children who are not school ready. This will aid the development of young children and enable them to start school at the appropriate stage of development for their age, giving them a better chance in life.

The group will use the funding to coach and mentor their volunteers for their user led organisation to strengthen skills to provide advice and support to those living with Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy. This will increase the organisations capacity to better serve its beneficiaries.
