This project will purchase IT equipment and educational toys for their pre-school nursery to support the educational development of young children, specifically in language and communication skills.

The organisation will use the funding to refurbish a community to enable them to run a cognitive stimulation therapy club for people with mid-stage dementia. This will provide access to an appropriate space and activities to support people with dementia, and one which will be used as a meeting venue for ageing well beneficiaries.

This will equip volunteers with the relevant skills and knowledge to support families with ASD, offering respite, emotional and practical support and coping strategies and activities to improve the lives of people on the autistic spectrum and their families.

This charity will use the funding to expand its service by providing more minibus trips to pick up service users from rural areas to bring them to activities at the local leisure centre. This will enable the organisation to provide more outreach services to vulnerable people in the area.

The project aims to improve well-being and reduce isolation and loneliness for older people across Romney Marsh and parts of rural Ashford, helping them maintain a level of independence. Reminiscence services will be delivered in care settings by staff and volunteers including sessions focused on musical memories. Long-term befriending will be offered face-to-face at home, over the phone and virtually, with sessions on using the internet safely to help people keep in touch with loved ones.
