This project will update the group's outdated IT equipment, enabling the organisation to run more efficiently and expand the level of suicide prevention support and training they provide to the local community.

This project will recruit and train volunteers who are not in education or employment from the lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) community and provide them with a range of radio and media skills. This will improve the employability of participants, enable them to develop their confidence and provide the LGBT community with a voice.

This project will work with young people aged 11 to 18 who have experienced mental health difficulties, to create six short mental health themed films based on their experiences, which will be shown on World Mental Health Day. This will raise awareness of mental health issues and enable participants to develop new creative skills and improve their confidence and resilience.

This project will increase the group's football activities in order to involve more children, a higher coach-to-child ratio for young children and greater engagement from low income families, particularly refugees.

The British Youth Council will use the grant to hold a youth leadership residential and a campaign training event in Cardiff for 100 young people aged 11-18 to build skills and empower young people to act as catalysts for change in their local areas. This grant for ?5,000 will fund venue hire, sessional trainers, travel, promotional materials, translation costs and resources for young people.

Creative play sessions will be held at the libraries and library staff and volunteers will receive training to make the sessions sustainable in the longer term. This will help people to access work based employment training, gain skills and improve social interaction and verbal and non-verbal communication through therapeutic music based technology.

This funding will be used to provide resources and equipment to run the first disability pride event in England. The celebration coincides with similar international events to address issues of discrimination and exclusion.

This organisation will use the funding to develop and diversify their programme of sessions for children and young people with autism and their families. This will improve their social, emotional, health, wellbeing and development.

This funding will be used to deliver digital literacy and creativity workshops for disadvantaged young people in the community, with a focus on creating short soap operas. This will help people to write scripts, edit and showcase their work, which will depict issues pertaining to them, with the aim of improving literacy skills and raising educational attainment.

Brighton & Hove Food Partnership

The group will expand its project redistributing food to the community that would otherwise go to landfill. This will benefit people who use food banks and local food projects, including those who are vulnerable or homeless, as well reducing food waste. The funding will enable the group to support people at more sites across the city, raise awareness and recruit more volunteers.

Professional development of Crystals Vardo and subsequent tour

This funding will be used to refurbish and modernise the scout centre, allowing it to continue to deliver and develop activities for the scouts and its members. The refurbishment will enhance the centre and bring in new clubs and groups to encourage learning, skills training, social inclusion and make it more sustainable. Health and safety elements will also be addressed to ensure the centre is fit for purpose.
