This charity will use the funding to pilot a new support service for homeless and vulnerable people to include mental health awareness training for staff, courses designed to help people cope with life, as well as a work and wellbeing programme for those experiencing mental health issues. This will provide a mental health programme to help sufferers manage anxiety, depression and stress.

This charity will use the funding to refurbish the community kitchen. This will enable the organisation to provide improved facilities for local residents and community groups who access its facilities.

The organisation will use the funding to deliver positive, healthy and active outdoor activities during the summer holidays targeted towards children from deprived backgrounds. This will enable the group to provide new experiences for children who do not have access to the same opportunities as their peers, and reduce the risk of isolation, antisocial behaviour and improve understanding of the risks of drugs and alcohol, and how to make healthy and safe choices.

The organisation will use the funding to deliver a range of activities including lunch craft club sessions, film nights, weekly drop in sessions, 1st aid courses, computing courses and book clubs for people within the wider community. This will provide community social and recreational activities and training within a rurally isolated community hub for use by the nine local villages.

The organisation will use the funding to enable them to continue to deliver art based workshops for people with learning difficulties and disabilities culminating in exhibitions of their work. This will provide cultural activities for beneficiaries, enabling them to express themselves, and help to promote understanding and remove barriers between able bodied and disabled members of the community.

The organisation will use the funding to install a composting, unisex, disabled access, self contained toilet on their allotment site for the benefit of plot tenants and Rochester Allotment and Gardeners Association. This will provide additional access to the allotment site for service users and wider community groups and support appropriate family facilities in a public environment.
