This project will develop and raise the profile of the organisation, which provides equine assisted behaviour courses for people who are disengaged within the community. This will support disadvantaged young adults living in difficult situations and at risk of school exclusion due to anxiety or difficult behaviours.

This project will deliver weekly health and wellbeing workshops to adults with learning disabilities that will include poetry, movement and yoga sessions. This will support them to reduce stress, manage anxiety and improve their mental and physical wellbeing.

The funding will be used by a community school to install kitchen and toilet facilities in the school space to improve the facilities in order to support the development of local community groups who will use the building.

A project to provide information and advice for families caring for a disabled child aged 0 to 25 on issues including benefits, Special Education Needs and Disabilities (SEND), sleep, behaviour and managing stress or isolation. It will provide one to one support and workshops for parent carers, drop in information and signposting sessions and events, and create peer support networks across the North West. The scheme will benefit over 1,900 people.

This school will use the funding to install an all weather area within the school grounds. This will create a safe and secure outdoor play area that will be used by both the school and other groups within the community. The surface will also be bright blue in colour to accommodate children who are visually impaired.

Inclusive Outdoor Gym for Community and Disabled Students

The organisation will use the funding to hold a social and study weekend for people with Koolen-De Vries syndrome and their families. This will enable them to provide more information and support to families as well as bring them together for peer support purposes.

The group will use the funding to fitness taster activities for isolated older people who are at risk of the effects of diabetes and obesity. This will encourage those taking part to adopt healthier lifestyle choices.

The organisation will use the funding to carry out repairs to skating ramps and equipment, as well as make improvements to its reception area, IT equipment and minibus. This will enable the group to provide modern facilities and resources to members, community groups and residents accessing skating and other activities, as well as ensure that activities can be carried out using safe and well-maintained equipment.
