A training and volunteering programme will be funded for local young people. This will provide participants with the opportunity to gain qualifications and confidence to become volunteers.

An outdoor play and discovery area, including a space for growing vegetables, will be created with this funding. This will help children to learn about nature and growing their own food, encouraging a healthy lifestyle.

This funding will be used to set up a pilot pet fostering service for survivors of domestic abuse and violence. This will remove a barrier to accessing temporary emergency accommodation, where pets are not allowed and improve their wellbeing while in a safe environment and starting to rebuild their lives.

Workshops on cooking and budgeting will be delivered to young people who have experienced disadvantage. This will allow them to learn basic cooking skills and encourage healthy eating.

This is a project by a community organisation in Falmouth benefiting people in Helston. They will use the funding to provide creative craft sessions for lonely or isolated people, particularly those who are older. This will encourage social engagement and reduce isolation in this rural area.

This is a project by a community interest company in Cornwall, also benefiting people in Poole. They will use the funding to create a resource for fathers with recently born children in neonatal care. This will provide them with improved knowledge about the obstacles of neonatal care, including how to manage mentally during this difficult time.

The local church?s heating system will be replaced with this funding, improving the facilities available in this community, reducing rural isolation.

The project will engage vulnerable young people in developing a short film and provide workshops that explore antisocial behaviour, the causes and the effects. This will help young people to develop filmmaking skills, provide intergenerational learning, and provide opportunities for the young people to deliver workshops for their peers and screenings of the film. This will help reduce levels of antisocial behaviour.
