This is a project by a community interest company in Cornwall, also benefiting people in Poole. They will use the funding to create a resource for fathers with recently born children in neonatal care. This will provide them with improved knowledge about the obstacles of neonatal care, including how to manage mentally during this difficult time.

This funding will be used to carry out a neighbourhood plan, which will include a landscape character and settlement boundary assessment and a housing needs survey. This will help to understand the needs of the community and local environment.

This funding will be used to conduct research into the potential for wearable technology, to provide alert systems for the effects of cold and damp homes on people living with dementia. This will enable earlier interventions to avoid health problems.

Positive social activities such as sports, fishing, gardening and cooking, will be funded for men with mental health problems. This will lead to improved community engagement and reduced isolation.

Play equipment will be installed at this school, allowing students to access equipment where they can develop their physical and practical skills such as turn-taking and analytical thinking.

This group will use the funding to refurbish their village hall, carry out a community consultation and review their organisational sustainability. This will improve the facilities in the building, ensure new activities meet community needs and support the group to build capacity.

This group will use the funding to hold a historic storytelling open day for all members of this rural community. This will celebrate 150 years of Ladock School where children will create and showcase new and old stories of the school, area and its history. Community identity and culture will be celebrated, allowing children to develop their historical knowledge and understanding of the village.

A support programme will be provided for people experiencing the effects of homelessness. The service will include the delivery of meals and provision of signposting advice, improving the wellbeing of participants who have a range of complex needs.

This is a project by a charity in Truro, serving people across Cornwall. They will use the funding to deliver self-empowerment workshops to young adults aged 18-35, who are living with psychosis. This will enable participants to build their confidence, self-esteem and social skills leading to improved mental wellbeing.

The funding will expand the group?s work supporting children and young people aged 0-20 across Cornwall who have been traumatised by experiencing physical, emotional or sexual abuse. There will be specialist support and therapy tailored to people?s needs, including art, drama and attachment therapy. These will help young people build safe relationships with family and friends, understand difficult feelings and reinforce trust. The group will also expand its healthy relationships programme in schools.

The group will use the funding to hold a series of workshops in local community venues for people with learning difficulties, centred on safeguarding and advising them on issues they face. This will strengthen communities by enabling beneficiaries to come together and access advice, reducing isolation and increasing self-esteem.

The group will use the funding to reduce isolation and loneliness for older people through providing support sessions that will provide information and guidance. This will reduce isolation and improve the wellbeing for those accessing the activities.

The organisation will use the funding to deliver two regional training workshops for people to be trained as ?Patient Champions? to build awareness of kidney cancer clinical trials throughout England. This will train participants to be experts in kidney cancer research, help recruit more volunteers to participate in the trials, provide information, support and encouragement to patients taking part in clinical trials and affected by cancer, helping to develop medical progress.
