The organisation will use the funding to replace the drainage pipes of the churchyard grounds and upgrade the electrics inside the church. This will improve the health and safety of the church and its grounds for the benefit of community groups from the village to use and enjoy.

The group will use the funding to set up a community nursery that will serve the needs of people who live in this rural district that has an expanding population.

A community horticulturalist will be employed to lead a team of volunteers to erect a small timber barn at their community garden site. This will improve the facilities of the group creating an area where community members of all ages can engage in a range of horticultural activities.
