The group will use the funding to deliver an intergenerational, multicultural community event focusing on healthy eating workshops including a variety fitness sessions. This will encourage beneficiaries to adopt healthier life styles to reduce illness, the risk of obesity and improve their general health and wellbeing.

The group will use the funding to recruit and train local volunteers, who will use digital technologies to support, engage with, and provide advice services the local community. This will improve accessibility to support services locally, allowing residents to access a range of training, employment and development opportunities.

A project to provide a drop in counselling service to vulnerable, isolated children aged 5-11 years who are experiencing severe emotional distress due to a range of external issues including anxiety, bereavement, family conflict, divorce, ill health and lack of self-worth affecting their everyday lives. The project will benefit 450 primary school aged children living in deprived areas of Wiltshire each year.

A project to expand a volunteer led support programme for isolated carers. The scheme will include carers cafes to provide social interaction and peer support, arts and crafts workshops to develop creative skills, exploring local gardens and walking groups to offer healthy exercise. It will also provide telephone befriending, counselling and complementary therapies. The project aims to benefit 2,000 adult carers.

The group will use the funding to provide leadership training to young people from local schools that are from families living with low incomes. This will equip beneficiaries with the skills and knowledge to improve their chances for the future.

The group will use the funding to replace their village hall?s driveway and carpark as it is currently unfit for purpose and proving to be an obstacle for older people and wheel chair users. The group will use the funding to deliver extra-curricular workshops both indoor and outdoor and trips to local and wider area points of interest. This will broaden young people?s experiences and encourage pupils to engage in positive play.

SPLITZ will use its funding to work with perpetrators and victims of domestic abuse in Wiltshire. The project aims to improve the safety and well-being of women and their children by working with male perpetrators to help them change their harmful behaviour. The 25 week accredited programme is designed to help the men involved to understand their behaviour and how to manage it and involves peer support. Specialist support will also be provided to women affected by domestic abuse.
