Special' is a play about an unlikely friendship between Catrin, a welsh-speaking eleven year old girl who witnesses bullying, and Terry, a fifty year old man with special needs. Terry is sent to the park so 'he isn't in the way' and he meets Catrin who is there for an arranged online meeting. The friendship begins, driven by the particular needs of the man and the girl, only for it to end in tragedy. The play will be bilingual and aims to decrease bullying behaviour in and around school and community.
