Andreas Ruethi, from Raglan, Usk, aims to reinvent his practice, incorporating new ideas and infusing a new understanding of Welsh culture through producing a series of paintings and an installation that interlink between 19th century Swansea and Nantgarw porcelain, and ceramic objects within his own collection, to investigate the Welsh ceramic traditions, and their daily use. This project will culminate with three solo exhibitions at Oriel Plan Glyn y Weddw, Glyn Vivian and Oriel Davies in 2018.
