Llandrindod Wells Football Club will use the grant to convert the ladies toilet into a disabled unisex toilet and improve the clubhouse access to meet current disability regulations. This grant for ?5,000 will fund the installation of a disabled access door with an improved pathway and a unisex toilet.

Criw Celf Mid is being presented in collaboration with Criw Celf West to form Criw Celf Mid & West Wales; working with the Mission Gallery and their partners, Oriel Myrddin, Oriel y Parc and Coleg Sir Gar. Criw Celf Mid is led by Powys County Council and delivered by the partners, Oriel Davies Gallery and Arts Alive Wales. The areas to be covered by Criw Celf Mid will be all of Powys and also into Ceredigion.

Play Radnor / Radnorshire Play Network will use the grant to develop an outdoor nursery project to provide quality early learning and childcare to approximately 19 two to five year olds. This grant for ?5,000 will part-fund labour costs, a compost toilet, weather proof structure, and waterproof clothing.

Llandrindod LED will use the grant to hold a Christmas Fayre that is designed to bring people together and celebrate the local community. This grant for ?1,060 will fund room hire, decorations, Santa?s Grotto, presents, and entertainment.

Dolau Recreation Association will use the grant to bring together the local community to celebrate the non-closure of the local school. This grant for ?1,060 will fund games, prizes, a hog roast, a local band, and venue hire.

Celf o Gwmpas, as a result of IR feedback, wish to address issues of planning and future sustainability of the organisation, through commissioning an organisational review to look at staffing structures, strengthening the board and its strategic role, and looking at ways of diversifying the funding base, through working with David Metcalfe, Applied Cognition, a consultant who has previously worked with Arts Connection, from October 15 to March 16. (Start date will need to be amended).

Celf o Gwmpas wish to deliver a yearlong training programme, for around 30 artists and emerging talented young artists who suffer from mental distress, within a stranded programme of work, led by an artist in residence, supported by another artist at various sites in Powys - Oriel Davies, The Welfare and Celf Centre. The long term aim is the development of a mental health arts festival for Wales in 2016 piloted by Disability Arts Cymru and Making Minds. From November 2015 - October 2016.

Powys County Council?s Arts Service plans to deliver a bespoke training programme designed to support Powys based arts organisations to equip themselves with the necessary skills, knowledge and information to further develop their business resilience and to be sustainable in the face of change and challenge.

This application from Celf o Gwmpas in Powys is for a participation project that will provide crafts activities (textiles, glass, clay) to a group of adults with learning disabilities and, separately, to two groups of young carers. the project will provide each group with 36 horus of contact, plus a visit to a gallery exhibition in Chichester and input into the curating of an exhibition of their own work.
