Gregynog Festival 2017 based on the theme of Pageantry, builds on last years' theme of Freedom. Gregynog Festival offers a highly curated early music programme, linked to the lives and works of the Davies sisters, and the main festival takes place between 16 June and 2 July 2017 at Gregynog Hall, Powys and at other locations across Wales, such as the National Library of Wales at Aberystwyth, Chirk Castle, BBC Hoddinott Hall, Cardiff, Criccieth and Harlech.

Tregynon Community First Responders in Newtown will use the grant to provide equipment and clothing to improve training to upskill their volunteer lifesavers. This grant for ?5,000 will fund two airway management trainers, two adult manikins, hi-vis jackets, and three CPR training manikins.

Hafren aims to deliver a community focussed arts project targeting young people and families in Newtown. This project will link Hafren arts centre with local communities and national arts organisations which in turn will develop Hafren arts programming in future years, from November 16 to November 17.
