Single Parents Wales in Cardiff will use the grant to deliver a six week pilot holistic training package, with an aim to improve the mental health and well-being of 10 single parents in Cardiff. This grant for ?4,989 will fund transport costs, childcare, facilitation costs, training manuals, DBS checks, venue hire, lunch and refreshments, promotional materials, translation, and training materials.

To produce and tour a re-imagined and contemporised version of Henrik Ibsen's Little Eyolf (1894) to venues across Wales during Sept-November 2017.

Hindu Cohesion Mandal in Barry will use the grant to hold a Rathyatra Cultural Festival to promote community cohesion amongst the local community and BME people. This grant for ?5,000 will fund venue hire, equipment hire, performers, yoga classes, printing, stationery, and publicity materials.

India@70 Midnight will use the grant to celebrate 70 years of Indian independence by bringing people together in Cardiff and the Vale of Glamorgan. This grant for ?5,000 will fund musicians, refreshments, computer, printing, stationery and administration support.

Cylch Meithrin Caerau in Cardiff will use the grant to purchase equipment for their newly started after school club. This grant for ?4,099 will fund iPads and laptop, mark making wall, TV and DVD player, outside storage unit, and various play equipment.

Ocean Watersports Trust Vale of Glamorgan

The proposal involves the construction of a new community centre in the docks area of Barry. The project will serve the local community and will creat meeting rooms, multi purpose space, a gym and provide a base for community groups in the area.

A research and development project for 'Exodus' between the 19th of June and 14th of July 2017 with support from partners RCT Theatres, Chapter, Creu Cymru and Bristol Old Vic. Work in progress at the Park and Dare will run an open door policy for the community on Friday 30th June, followed by a sharing to an invited audience of industry at Chapter on Friday 7th July.

The Rainbow Women's Group in Barry will use the grant to provide exercise classes and opportunities to socialise for up to 60 BAME women at risk of isolation. This grant for ?5,000 will fund venue hire, lunch, lecturer fees, exercise instructor fees, swimming sessions, and transport.

Rhoose Community Library in the Vale of Glamorgan will use the grant to purchase equipment to allow local residents to copy and print documents. This grant for ?4,700 will fund colour photocopier and desktop printer.

Herbert Thompson Primary in Cardiff will use the grant to install an activity trail for pupils and community groups to use out of school hours. This grant for ?5,000 will part-fund an activity trail and artificial grass.

The Inland Waterways Association ? South Wales Branch will use the grant to put on an exhibition and workshops to tell people about their work and the local canals. This grant for ?961 will fund venue hire, speaker?s fees, literature production and a banner.

Oak Court Garden and Social Club in the Vale of Glamorgan will use the grant to hold a celebration event for older people in their area to come together to share stories to reduce social isolation. This grant for ?640 will fund food, decorations, and bingo equipment.

St Andrews Short Green Indoor Bowling Club in Dinas Powys will use the grant to improve the facilities available for their members, some of whom have mobility issues. This grant for ?5,000 will part-fund an electric mat winder.

Vale District Scout Council will use the grant to increase the number of people able to use their hall by improving disability access. This grant for ?5,000 will part-fund a disabled toilet and shower room, and disabled access.

NOVA wishes to develop a second production - Best Before End - which explores the role of feminism, sexism and the effect of these subjects on us. Kate Perridge from NTW will act as their mentor. This phase will cover eight weeks, consisting of a two week R&D residency at Chapter, along with an industry sharing of the work in progress. After the sharing at Chapter, NOVA will hold meetings and discussions to develop potential partnerships to support the proposed main production in due course.

With Music in Mind C.I.C. in Vale of Glamorgan will use the grant to pilot a new referral scheme for their singing groups, aimed to improve emotional wellbeing. This grant for ?4,956 will fund research referral, transport, publicity, venue hire, refreshments, guest speakers, insurance, and sessional worker fees.
