Fervour album recording and tour

This project will offer support to women and children affected by domestic abuse. Support will focus on understanding domestic abuse and its impact, building self-confidence, developing coping strategies and preparing practically for the future. Sessions will be co-delivered by organisations including the NSPCC and Innovating Minds CIC. There will also be opportunities for women to plan, organise and lead activities and workshops together, such as arts and crafts, walking groups and laughter yoga.

Weekly craft sessions and a wide range of activities for visually impaired people will be delivered with this funding. This will allow more people to take part in a wider range of creative and social activities to improve self-confidence and reduce isolation.

This group will use the funding to run job interview training and video CV sessions for young adults with special educational needs. This will help people to develop skills which improve their chances of finding employment.

This is a project by a charity in Birmingham, benefiting people nationwide. They will use the funding to produce a short film on bladder health, focusing on people living with illness who manage the condition and live a better life. This will provide information and support to people and reduce isolation.

Aston Women?s Fitness & Wellbeing Club

This funding will be used to run two weekly clubs, which will focus on bringing young people and their guardians together to encourage intergenerational working. The clubs will also include group sessions that will cover a wide range of issues such as substance misuse, employment, education, self-esteem and mental health. This will improve health and well-being and increase community participation in creative and physical activities.

Activity sessions will be funded for older people benefiting their health and wellbeing.

The Maypole

This project will build on the existing work of the Damascus Road Second Chance Prison and Community programme, which supports men who have been involved in the criminal justice system. It aims to reduce re-offending rates and improve community cohesion by working with these men and their families. A 24 month programme of support will prepare people for release, support them as they re-settle into community and family life, and help them to plan for the future.

This is a project by a community organisation in Birmingham, also benfiting people in Wolverhampton. They will use the funding to run confidence-building workshops for girls and young women. This will allow people to receive support and guidance regarding the issues which impact on their lives.

This group will use the funding to provide workshops and activities for women who have experienced issues including addiction and self-harm. The workshops will help them to receive support regarding the issues impacting on their wellbeing and chances in life.

This group will use the funding to create partitioned meeting rooms, developing the capacity of the group to provide confidential advice to people.

This group will use the funding to provide holistic services and support for carers of people living with cancer. This will ensure carers become physically and mentally healthier via access to services, information and support.

This project will set up a retreat for women and children experiencing domestic abuse, forced marriage and human trafficking. It will help people live independently again by providing secure accommodation and dedicated support packages. Creative arts therapy, fitness activities, individual counselling, group, peer and guidance support will help people's emotional and physical wellbeing. Support will focus on both personal and professional life skills, from budgeting and cooking to CV writing and presenting.

The project will focus on personal and practical life skills. Activities include training, sports sessions, youth-led social action projects, qualifications and one-to-one mentoring. This group will use the funding to stage circus skills classes for children and young people in the social care system, developing their life skills and confidence.

This group will use the funding to recruit, train and develop volunteers by providing employability workshops. This will increase their basic skills and confidence and reduce isolation.

This group will use the funding to continue to run a series of personal development courses for women recovering from addictions and those who have low confidence and anxiety. This will provide people with new ways of thinking positively and teach techniques to improve confidence through one to ones and peer support.

This project will build on the work People in Partnership does to provide advocacy for parents with learning disabilities. The support available has been designed with parents, and aims to build their parenting skills and increase understanding of child protection and care proceedings. A new project worker will provide practical support and training for parents to reduce the risk of abusive relationships, unplanned pregnancies and social isolation.

This funding will be used to continue a peer support group for people living with mental health problems. This will allow existing and new members of the group to access support and social activities, reducing social isolation and improving their mental wellbeing.

This is a project by a community organisation in Birmingham, supporting people in Bromsgrove, Worcestershire. They will use the funding to deliver a series of therapeutic respite breaks for foster carers. This will address issues surrounding isolation and improve people?s wellbeing.

Early Years environmental arts practitioners will be funded to provide outdoor learning and play sessions for children. This will increase physical activity and provide opportunities for outdoor play and learning.

Teaching musical instruments to pupils with a physical disability

This group will use the funding to educate young people through the production of a bilingual play set in modern day France. This will engage different generations in activities to share and discuss life experiences, as well as offer young people the opportunity to develop skills and increase their confidence to access employment.

This group will use the funding to provide workshops for black and ethnic minority families to raise awareness of child safeguarding. This will engage them in workshops to raise awareness of child safeguarding, which will improve parenting skills resulting in stronger relationships.

This group will deliver accredited training and routes into employment for people aged 16-29 who are not in education, training or employment. An engagement and marketing campaign, including social media and community radio, will be implemented to help support the delivery of this project.

This project will create a resource centre for children with disabilities and their families at the Allens Croft Children?s Centre in Kings Heath. Weekly drop-in sessions held alongside consultant appointments will make it easier for parents to access support for a wide range of issues including benefits, grant funding, housing, specialist support, education, transition and schooling.

This will create pathways to employment for people who are living in an area that is experiencing the effects of social disadvantage.
