This group will use the funding to provide training and survey data analysis for local voluntary groups. This will allow organisations to understand the needs of the community and deliver services more effectively.

This is a project by a community organisation in Hereford benefiting people in Worcester. They will use the funding to deliver a programme of engagement activities, which will support people and families who are experiencing the effects of substance misuse or gambling addiction. This will improve their wellbeing.

Modern playground equipment will be installed on a local recreation ground, providing a safe area of children to play and improve their health and fitness.

Expansion of Hereford Stampede American Football Club

A new and permanent facility will be funded within the village hall where playgroup activities can take place. This will function alongside other community facilities, allowing continued and increased use of the venue for activities and events.

This group will use the funding to purchase materials to improve the current shower amenities in the community area. This will provide the community with better facilities and encourage more use of the pavilion.

This group will use the funding to install new equipment and furniture following the refurbishment of the parish hall. This will provide improved facilities, which will increase social events and the range of activities available to the local community.

This group will use the funding to install a hearing loop system and projector within the hall. This will provide improved facilities to ensure those who are hard of hearing and visually impaired can continue to participate in activities at the hall.

Furniture and equipment will be purchased for a new pre-school, providing local children from this isolated rural area with access to a facility where they can develop their physical and other early skills.

A training kitchen to run workshops will be created, which will help people with learning disabilities gain confidence and develop new skills, improving their chances in life.

The council will use this funding to create a pathway across a local recreational ground, providing walking access from the school to the ground?s car park. This will ease parking congestion outside the school and address road safety concerns.

This is a project to install a defibrillator at the village hall and provide relevant first aid training. This will improve access to life saving equipment.

This project will deliver a local befriending service for older people in the area. This will reduce isolation and bring the community together.

The Big Skill CIC in Powys will use the grant to run a skills festival to introduce people to the courses they run. The weekend festival will include workshops and an arts and crafts exhibition. This grant for ?4,950 will fund workshops, accredited training, coordinator costs, and course brochure.

Support, information and training will be offered to Gypsy, Roma and Traveller (GRT) communities to address discrimination issues and poor access to services, which prevent them from having a full and equal role in society. The organisation will also develop a new mentoring scheme to enable more positive representation and an events programme will broker better relationships between GRT communities and the media industry. The project will directly engage and work with 540 people from the GRT community.

This project is the installation of a kitchen and meeting space within the church building. This will provide a facility for community events and activities.

Funding will go towards refurbishing the Stretton Sugwas Village Hall (SSVH), modernising facilities for existing and new hall users. It will also enable the creation of a social, educational and health hub, supporting what is likely to be an expanding village. SSVH aims to unify local people through this project, providing services to improve health and wellbeing, while engendering a community spirit generating care, compassion and support for neighbours.

The scheme will run artist led creative workshops for residents in local care homes using multi-sensory techniques to engage people with a wide range of communication abilities such as sharing poems, drama sessions, singing, dancing, and visual arts and literature discussion groups. The project will benefit 1000 people.
