The successful project provides support for young people to help improve their health, wellbeing and community participation. It will take place in an area with high rates of childhood obesity and deprivation offering free sporting and physical activities to disadvantaged young people aged 8 to 16 who would otherwise be unable to afford it. Healthy eating workshops will also be offered to them and their parents/carers.
