A Cultural History of World War I

Meetings and a conference will be funded for local older people. This will provide people with information and advice about local services and the issues affecting their lives.

This group will use the funding to improve levels of safety on its playground through the installation of new equipment, creating new opportunities for safe play.

A series of community events will be delivered to support older people who are living in rurally isolated areas. This will encourage social engagement and improve levels of wellbeing.

The heating system in the village hall will be replaced with this funding, improving the building for community engagement through the winter months.

The council will use this funding to install a defibrillator in the village and train the community on how to use it. This will lead to improved health outcomes in the event of cardiac arrest in this rurally isolated location.

This community organisation will use the funding to deliver sessions on healthy lifestyles and drug awareness. This will provide guidance and support to young people, giving them a better chance in life.

This council will use the funding to install new equipment for older children, including a zip wire. This will improve play resources in this rurally isolated area and increase the number of community members who benefit from it.

Dont Panic! Its Challenge Anneka Theatre Tour

This project will work on the removal and planting of trees in the area, and provide consultation activities, as well as a structural engineer report. Plus it will provide for new facilities for the community hall, including a new large fridge, electrical and carpentry work.

The school will use the funding to install a multi-use games area in the school field, in order to address damage being caused to local property by children playing and potential health and safety hazards to the children. This will improve the environment at the school, providing a safe area for children and the community to play.

The scheme will provide specialist support on addiction counselling, mental health, and mobility issues and access to health and social care.
