The group will deliver a series of DJing and dance activities for young people. This will provide structured, diversionary things to do, with the aim of reducing antisocial behaviour.

The group will host an event to share their experience of delivering community parades over the last ten years, which will raise awareness of community parades, support the growth of community parade culture and improve community spirit and cohesion.

The group will run a series of courses for local residents covering healthy eating, gardening, arts and crafts and IT sessions. This will bring the community together to create cohesion where people of all ages can socialise and support each other.

The funding will be used to run a drop-in service for ex-offenders that offers holistic and peer-led support from people who are also ex-offenders. The project aims to break cycles of re-offending by supporting and allowing ex-offenders to make a positive difference in the community.

The group will conduct a feasibility study with regards to changes to their current theatre building and the purchase of the premises next door. This will enable the group to ascertain the potential to provide additional services for the community and allow full access to the theatre building, with the aim of reducing isolation and promoting inclusion.

The group will deliver a series of multi sports activities and provide accessible transport for adult wheelchair users. This will alleviate the transport barriers that are currently a deterrent to physical activity, with the aim of reducing obesity and health inequalities.

The group will work with ex-offenders to enter mentored and sustainable employment through employment coaching, CV writing, interview skills and job search support. This will help ex-offenders back into employment with practical advice and support.

The group will offer a variety of social and therapeutic activities for older people who are at risk of developing, or who already live with, dementia. Activities will include massage, a Christmas party and live music. This will help to alleviate the symptoms of dementia and improve mental health by reducing stress and anxiety often associated with the condition.

This project is the delivery of weekly art workshops for people who are in recovery or suffer from mental health issues. This will help break down stigma surrounding mental health and addiction and use art as a purpose and direction to those in recovery.
