The group will implement a research project to celebrate the end of the first world war. This will encourage community members to work together to create a public exhibition of photographs, documentation and biographies, depicting the contribution to the war made by local people, with the aim of reducing social isolation amongst people of all ages.

Craven at War: The Home Front Legacy

The aim of this project is to support individuals and families who are at risk of isolation from society, increasing their resilience and ability to support themselves and their families. Participants will benefit from improved skills, confidence and resilience. The project will allow them to gain work experience with local employers, apprenticeships and education providers, moving participants into employment, training or job seeking.

The group will install a variable speed pump in the community swimming pool. This will enable the future sustainability of the facility, with the aim of reducing social isolation in their rural location.
