The project will support asylum seekers who have recently been granted refugee status or discretionary leave to remain. Individuals will be supported to live independently and will learn to integrate into their local communities. It will also give them the opportunity to take control of their lives and be better equipped to undertake additional offers of support such as training and employment opportunities.

The project aims to give the community a place to meet, learn new skills to get back into employment. From Man to Monk ? Part 1 - MAN - a co-production between Spin Arts and Sadlers Wells

The group will run a programme of activities for people with mental health issues to improve wellbeing and bring local people together.

The group will deliver activities for African women, to include basic IT workshops, nutrition advice and family trips. This will improve skills and provide opportunities to socialise, with the aim of reducing isolation.

The group will employ an external consultant and liaise with service users, partners and stakeholders to identify ways to improve and develop their service. This will enable the organisation to review and enhance their service to ensure they are more sustainable for the future and can better support the needs of older people.

The group will implement a drop in advisory service for people who have English as a second language, with the aim of reducing isolation and promoting wellbeing.

The group will run weekly gardening sessions. This will provide the opportunity to improve people?s skills, confidence and physical and mental wellbeing.

The group will hold drop in sessions, activities, mentoring and termly trips for young males who are known to cause antisocial behaviour within the community. This will raise their aspirations, increase their confidence and reduce antisocial behaviour.

The group will hold a community theatre event to bring local people together to build relationships and make positive changes.

The group will provide employability skills opportunities for people not in employment, education or training with the aim of reducing unemployment.

The group will deliver arts based activities for children with emotional or physical disabilities. This will encourage children to explore issues pertaining to them through creating short stories and plays, with the aim of developing communication skills and reducing social isolation.

The group will deliver dance and reminiscence workshops for older people, including those with dementia. This will provide positive things to do and encourage physical activity, with the aim of promoting wellbeing.

The group will run food growing sessions and hold community days for children and the wider community, with the aim of reducing obesity in the community.

The group will bring the community together through sharing experiences, learning about other cultures, raising awareness of dementia and creating a book of stories and photos to share with the wider community.

The group will resurface the driveway outside their community building to ensure safe access to the facility, which is used for many events and activities, particularly by older people and people with disabilities.

The group will run a series of activities, to include employment skills workshops, crafts and healthy cooking on a budget, aimed at the local Roma community. This will equip people with the skills and knowledge to embark on paid employment, encourage a healthy diet and provide the opportunity to get out and socialise, with the aim of reducing unemployment, health inequalities and isolation.

The group will develop a fully wheelchair accessible wildlife garden which will include a dipping platform, pond area and outdoor cooking area, for use by pupils and the wider community.

The group will deliver sports activities, along with conducting a community consultation exercise. This will provide structured, diversionary activities for young people and will enable the group to ascertain other potential projects suitable for young people, with the aim of reducing crime and antisocial behaviour.

The group will deliver a range of physical and social activities for deprived and isolated older Sikh and Hindu women. This will reduce isolation, break down social barriers and enhance social connections.

The group will install an outdoor shelter and canopy to allow children at the school to remain active during bad weather.

The group will provide diversionary training workshops on photography, video shooting and editing for young unemployed people to improve their employment prospects.

This project is a camera group for socially isolated adults and adults with a learning disability. It will provide access to a creative activity where people can learn new skills and become socially active.

The school will install outdoor fitness equipment for pupils and staff, as well as parents and community groups, to encourage the community to become socially and physically active.

The centre provides comprehensive services and activities for all local people, with a specific focus on the most vulnerable, including: ethnic minorities and excluded communities, isolated individuals, people without work and individuals experiencing domestic abuse. The project will run their own activities such as a variety of fitness groups like yoga, Zumba and dancercise. Activities will run for free or at a reduced cost.

The group will redesign the grounds of the new community centre, which will enable them to provide therapeutic garden activities and will also create a volunteering hub to facilitate the future involvement of volunteers in creating and maintenance of the site with the aim of engaging young people.
